FAMILY LAW:Rules, Forms, and Links
[downloadable copies of forms and rules]
The "Family Law" page of the Blue Ridge Circuit resource web site has a new name and a new look. The former "local resources" page is now dedicated to Domestic Relations information. The goal is to try and provide a useful and accessible resource for court related information. The downloadable forms will be arranged for easier review and retrieval.
This web page will continue be an information resource for Uniform Superior Court Rule changes affecting domestic law. Forms will be provided from time to time that will hopefully improve the process.
Check back soon to get copies of the new Domestic Standing Orders that will be attached to all cases beginning in 2011.

Information about the Domestic Relations Pre-trial Order Form
This form is different from the general civil pre-trial order form. It is required in all contested domestic cases and the parties must submit a proposed consolidated domestic relations pre-trial order prior to the scheduling of any final hearing.
When one party fails to cooperate with the consolidated proposal or the parties can't agree on the consolidation, a conference with the judge should be scheduled pursuant to U.S.C.R 7.1.
Child Support Attachment to DRPTO form. While not required, this attachment is a useful tool for attorneys to work with together to identify areas of agreement and areas where they do not agree. [not available at this time]
