Appalachian Judicial Circuit Superior Courts

The Appalachian Judicial Circuit is comprised of Fannin, Gilmer and Pickens Counties, with a population of just under 80,000. Each county of the Appalachian Circuit has its own superior court, though each of the three judges serve all three counties.  Each county of the Appalachian Circuit has its own juvenile court, with one full-time juvenile judge and one part- time associate juvenile judge serving all three counties. 

The Appalachian Circuit is part of the 9th Judicial District.
